Surprise!!
The day we had been planning a year for was finally here! Mom's surprise 50 party! My mom deserves above and beyond which pushed me to make this day extra special.- Plants, flowers and leaves -L.A flower district
- White dishes- Home Goods
- Canvas- DIY
Our dessert table was a mix of home made and store bought only because we had so much work to do it didn't allow much time to bake ourselves. I don't believe there is anything wrong with it shoot Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Costco cookies are better than what I could bake anyways. ha
Pinterest! Boy is Pinterest a life saver! Me and my sister created a mom's surprise 50th board to get ideas for the party. Well we kind of knew what we wanted it just helped put it in order. My sister bought these jumbo balloons from Party City added the leaves we got at the flower district. How did we hide the ugly strings? Turns out the leaves act as a weight meaning you don't need strings to tie it down.
- Banner- DIY
- Straws- Party City
- Table runners- Home made
A little advice if you'd like more pictures at the end of the day ask a friend or family to take pictures for you because you will find yourself to busy as a host to stop and take pictures.
Also not shown is a photo booth we rented to place instant picture in the guestbook which the kids seemed to love more than the adults haha
I'd like to thank my big sister for working together and making this day happen for our beautiful mother and to my brother who couldn't make it due to work, but still made it via facetime.

this picture was taken before the party to make sure the booth was working (: |
A picture of me and my brother via facetime on an ipad. oh technology
I'd also like to thank everyone who helped make this day happen and to everyone who attended and made this day forever memorable!!
Looking at my mom and the way she cares herself you would never think she is under going treatment for stage four cancer because she doesn't let it slow her down one bit. If I could I would throw this party again in a heart beat to see her so excited and happy surrounded by family and friends. I hope you all enjoyed the pictures I was able to take. CorinaH
