Ventura

Late post.

Hi everyone! This weekend we went on our last vacation before the holidays. I most likely will be swapped with work holiday hours. My family stayed at a campsite called " Ventura Ranch KOA" just 2 hours away. The weekend we went there was a few mudslides in the grapevine making our trip longer.

By the time we reached the campsite it was dark outside. We made a small fire and just hungout.

On our last day we went to downtown Ventura to shop at all the second hand stores. Sadly we didn't find any treasures.

However, we did find a succulent heaven!

I wish I had planned to take plants home because had I would've taken one of each.

After all our shopping adventures it was time for lunch. We were meeting up with friends at a burger place they had chosen.

I choose the Bombay burger with sweet potato fries it was very good but I got half way and I was full.

I wanted to go to the beach but it was time to head home. It was too windy outside and by then I was full an wanted a nap ha.

Funny story the whole time on our way camping I thought we were going camping at the beach. I guess I just associated "Ventura" with "Ventura Beach" turns out there is a lot of mountains around. So yes I packed dresses with sweaters and boots. Fail?

Summer to Fall Decor

Hello Fall! How I have awaited your arrival since you left me last year.. ha

Every holiday/season I like to change my restroom decorations. Although, I keep old decorations I still like to add something new.  

 

 

 

Each item below I found at the dollar store for $1 each.

  

This could be altered anyway you'd like. You could also buy unique vases at goodwill or a thrift store. I paid about $9 altogether for this simple but cute addition. I hope you like it or can get ideas from this. Add a candle and your set.

Labor Day Weekend

Every Labor day weekend my family goes camping the location changes sometimes. This year we went to Bass Lake. I feel like the older I get the more I procrastinate the packing process. I began packing about an hour before we left.

 

 

Aren't my donut socks cool? I think so. The socks are from forever 21. 

The cabins we stayed in had an apple tree in front which drew in the deer. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry the post was a month late. I had a blast and I can't believe it's been a month. Welcome fall!
